Epic and EA accounts are linked when you install and start an EA game from your Epic Games Library for the first time. Sign in to the correct Epic account, choose the EA game, select Install, and then sign in to the EA app when it opens. Check EA Account settings afterward before changing or unlinking anything.
Sign in to the Epic Games account that owns the EA game and confirm the email address of the EA Account you intend to use. If either account is unfamiliar or inaccessible, recover it before linking; guessing can attach the game to the wrong profile.
2
Install the EA app
Download and install the EA app from EA's official website if it is not already installed. Keep the Epic Games Launcher and EA app updated, then close and reopen both.
3
Start the link from Epic
In the Epic Games Launcher, open Library, choose the EA game, and select Install. EA says the EA app will open and ask you to connect the Epic Games account to an EA Account.
4
Sign in to the intended EA Account
Enter the EA Account credentials you confirmed in step 1 and complete any one-time-code check. Read the displayed account names before accepting; never send the verification code to another person.
5
Let Epic finish the installation
Return to Epic Games and allow the installation to complete. Launch the game from Epic once so you can confirm that the expected EA profile and game access appear.
6
Verify before unlinking anything
Open the Connected Accounts section of EA Account settings and confirm the connection. If the wrong EA Account appears, stop and use EA Help. Unlinking can affect progress and access, and repeated account switching is limited.
