How to Fix Epic Games Unavailable in Library - Tutorial
Source-checked About 10 minutes
Answer
Confirm you signed into the Epic account that owns the game, remove any Library filter, refresh the Library, and check whether the title was refunded or is temporarily unavailable. Reinstalling the launcher does not restore a missing entitlement.
Confirm the owning Epic account
Select the profile icon and verify the account email or external sign-in method. Signing in through Google, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Apple, or Facebook can reach a different Epic account.
Clear Library filters
Open Library, clear the search box, choose All rather than Installed, and disable filters that can hide the title.
Refresh the launcher
Close the Epic Games Launcher completely, reopen it, sign out and back into the confirmed account, then check Library again.
Check the transaction
Open Account > Transactions and confirm the game was claimed or purchased on this account and was not refunded. A store receipt alone is not proof that the currently signed-in account owns it.
Check availability
Epic notes that a game may be temporarily unavailable because of a server issue or maintenance. Check Epic Games status before changing the installation.
Follow Epic's missing-game checks
Use Epic's current article and follow the branch matching whether the game is hidden, refunded, or attached to another account.
Contact Epic for an entitlement mismatch
If Transactions shows ownership but Library still does not, contact Epic Games Support with the order ID and account email. Do not repurchase the title or unlink console accounts as a troubleshooting shortcut.

If it does not work
- If the title appears on the Epic website but not in the launcher, capture both screens after confirming the same account email and send them to Epic Support.
- Do not delete local game files until ownership is confirmed; reinstalling cannot repair an account entitlement.
