Fortnite Unavailable in Epic Games Launcher? Restore Library Access
Source-checked · About 10 minutes
Answer
Reset Library filters, confirm the correct Epic account and release availability, restart the launcher, and verify Windows time. Do not repurchase or create another account before identifying ownership.
Check the Epic display name and account used for Fortnite progress or purchases. Sign out and use the original linked provider if the launcher opened a different account.
3
Check availability and status
Confirm Fortnite is available for the current platform and region, then check Epic's service status. Wait through a Store or Library incident.
4
Restart the launcher
Right-click the launcher icon in the system tray, choose Exit, and reopen it. Refresh the Library after sign-in completes.
5
Sync Windows time
Open Windows date and time settings, enable automatic time and time zone when appropriate, and select Sync now. Incorrect system time can interfere with Epic services; reopen the launcher and confirm the same account and filters afterward.
