How to Create and Share a LEGO Fortnite Odyssey World
Source-checked About 10 minutes
Answer
Create the world from LEGO Fortnite Odyssey, invite the friend, and make that player a Key Holder if they should enter and continue the world while you are offline.
Create or open the world
Launch LEGO Fortnite Odyssey and create a world or open the world you own. Confirm you selected the intended world before changing another player's access.
Invite the player
Add the player as an Epic friend if needed, invite them to your party, and enter the world together. They must be present in the world before you can select them for a key.
Open the Players tab
Press M to open the Menu, then choose the Players tab. Select the friend who should be allowed to return while you are offline.
Share the key
Choose Share Key at the bottom of the menu and confirm the player now appears as a Key Holder. Share keys only with people you trust because they can continue progressing in the world without you.
Verify access
Leave the session and ask the Key Holder to select the world from their list. If ordinary invited players can join only while you are online, that is expected without a shared key.
Review access later
Return to the Players tab after the test and review every Key Holder. Remove access from anyone who no longer needs it, and explain that removing a key changes future entry rather than undoing progress already made in the shared world.

If it does not work
- If Share Key is unavailable, confirm that you own the world and that the friend is currently in it.
- If the wrong person received access, return to the Players tab and review the current Key Holders before continuing play.
