Find the Watch Later Playlist on YouTube

Source-checked About 10 minutes

Answer

Open You on YouTube, then select Watch later under playlists or saved content. You must be signed in to see videos saved to that account.

Guide steps5 steps
  1. Use the account where videos were saved
  2. Open the You section
  3. Open Watch later
  4. Save a video for later
  5. Verify the save
  6. If it still does not work

Use the account where videos were saved

Sign in to YouTube and check the profile picture before searching. Watch Later belongs to the active Google Account, so an empty list often means YouTube is using another account or channel identity.

Open the You section

In the YouTube app or current site navigation, select You. Scroll through the playlists or saved-content area rather than relying on a browser bookmark to an old library layout.

Open Watch later

Select Watch later to display the saved videos. Use the playlist controls to play, reorder, or remove items; removing a video from this playlist does not delete the original upload.

Save a video for later

From a video's More menu, choose Save to Watch later, or use the offered Save control while watching. YouTube notes that videos marked made for kids cannot be added to Watch Later.

Verify the save

Return to You > Watch later and confirm the video appears under the same account. Remove it after watching if you use the list as a short queue.

If it does not work

  • If Watch Later is empty, switch among signed-in Google Accounts and channel identities and retry the exact save. If one item is missing, it may have been removed, made private, or restricted; saving another ordinary video confirms whether the playlist itself works.
