View Your Liked Videos on YouTube

Source-checked About 10 minutes

Answer

Sign in to YouTube and open Liked videos from You. The playlist is private and displays at most 5,000 videos; remove a like to remove an item.

Select the correct Google Account

Open YouTube and check the profile picture and email before looking for likes. Brand channels and personal channels under one sign-in can have different activity, so switch channels when the expected playlist is missing.

Open Liked videos

On mobile, open You and select Liked videos. On a computer, expand the left navigation if necessary and choose Liked videos. The playlist is private and tied to the selected channel.

Review the available list

Scroll or search within the interface options YouTube provides. The Liked videos playlist displays at most 5,000 videos, so it is not guaranteed to expose every historical like after that display limit.

Open or unlike an item

Select a video to play it. To remove it from Liked videos, remove the like from the video or use the playlist item's available menu; this changes the like itself rather than only hiding a playlist row.

Account for unavailable videos

Private, deleted, restricted, or otherwise unavailable videos may not be playable and can appear differently or disappear. The playlist cannot restore a video removed by its owner or YouTube.

Video walkthrough

If it does not work

  • If Liked videos is empty or unexpectedly different, confirm the Google Account and YouTube channel, then like a harmless test video and verify it appears. If new likes work but old ones do not, the 5,000-item display limit or unavailable videos may explain the gap; do not install an extension that requests broad account access.
