Enable Team Create and Add Collaborators in Roblox Studio
Source-checked About 10 minutes
Answer
Open the experience in Studio, select Collaborate, add eligible users with Edit permission, and save. Team Create starts automatically for supported collaboration workflows.
Prepare the correct account, device, files, and recovery path
Confirm the official Roblox Studio installation, active account, experience ownership or edit permission, current saved place, and exact asset, login, collaboration, or crash symptom before making changes. Save or publish a recoverable version and test in a copy. Do not use executors, modified clients, copied session cookies, untrusted assets, or scripts that bypass Creator Hub permissions and moderation.
Open the owned experience
Open the correct user-owned or group-owned experience in Roblox Studio and confirm you have permission to manage collaborators.
Open collaboration settings
Select Collaborate on the Studio toolbar. Search for the eligible friend, group member, or role.
Grant the minimum access
Choose Edit only for people who should change the experience, then save. Roblox age and trusted-friend rules can limit who may join.
Join the shared session
Collaborators open the experience from Creator Dashboard or Shared With Me and choose Edit in Studio.
Disable only when necessary
To end Team Create, open the collaborators panel, use the More menu, and select Disable Team Create after everyone has stopped editing.
Verify the result before making broader changes
Repeat the exact task described in “Enable Team Create and Add Collaborators in Roblox Studio” and confirm the intended account, device, file, app, or service now behaves as described in the Answer. Check any changed setting again after one restart or fresh session where appropriate, and preserve the original data until the result is stable. If only one app, account, network, or file remains affected, keep the next recovery step limited to that scope.

If it does not work
- If collaborators cannot edit, verify experience ownership, group roles, collaboration permission, and published state. Restore from version history rather than overwriting others' work.
