Open the asset in Creator Hub or Creator Store and copy its numeric asset ID from the URL or asset details. Use only assets you own or are licensed to use.
Prepare the correct account, device, files, and recovery path
Confirm the official Roblox Studio installation, active account, experience ownership or edit permission, current saved place, and exact asset, login, collaboration, or crash symptom before making changes. Save or publish a recoverable version and test in a copy. Do not use executors, modified clients, copied session cookies, untrusted assets, or scripts that bypass Creator Hub permissions and moderation.
Open the correct asset
Find the image, decal, or audio in Creator Hub, Creator Store, or your development items and open its details page.
Copy the numeric ID
Copy the number shown in the asset URL or details. Do not copy a universe, place, user, or catalog ID by mistake.
Insert it in Studio
Use the Toolbox or the relevant Image, Decal, or Sound property and enter the asset in the format expected by Studio, commonly rbxassetid:// followed by the number.
Check ownership and moderation
An asset can remain unavailable while moderation is pending or when the experience lacks permission. Do not reupload copyrighted content to bypass access controls.
Test in a private session
Playtest the experience and review Output for a permission, moderation, or asset-type error before publishing.
