Open VALORANT, select Play, and choose Custom Game. Pick the map, mode, lobby access, and teams before starting. If you enabled Cheats for a private practice session, press Esc after loading and open the Cheats tab to change options such as infinite abilities, infinite ammo, or ghost movement.
Sign in to the intended Riot account, select Play, and choose Custom Game. This creates a private match setup screen rather than placing you in normal matchmaking.
2
Choose a map and mode
Select the map and game mode you want. Use a familiar map first if you are testing a setting or teaching another player.
3
Set the lobby access
Choose whether the lobby is closed or open to invited friends, then invite players and place them on the intended teams.
4
Enable Cheats only for practice
Turn on Cheats before starting if you need practice controls such as infinite abilities, infinite ammo, or ghost movement. These controls apply to the custom session, not competitive matches.
5
Start and choose an agent
Select Start, choose an agent, and load into the custom match. Wait until every invited player has joined before changing practice settings.
6
Open the Cheats tab
Press Esc and open Cheats. Change only the option needed for the practice drill, then close the menu and confirm it works as expected.
7
Leave the custom match
Press Esc, open the match menu, and choose Leave Match when the session is finished. If a label differs, use Riot's current support portal rather than an unofficial custom-client tool.
If Cheats is missing, create a new custom lobby and enable Cheats before starting the match. It cannot be added to a normal matchmaking game.
If a friend cannot join, check the exact Riot ID, lobby access, invitation, region, and party status before recreating the lobby.
The retained video shows an earlier VALORANT interface. Follow the current labels in the client and never use a third-party tool to unlock custom-game controls.
