When League closes with a System Error or asks to create a crash dump, allow the crash report, reopen the Riot Client, and run profile icon > Settings > League of Legends > Repair. Check automatic crash reporting
Open the League client, select the gear icon, then open General. Make sure automatic crash reports are enabled. This gives Riot the game-side failure record; it does not publish the dump or repair the installation by itself.

Repair League without deleting evidence
Open the Riot Client, select the profile icon > Settings > League of Legends > Repair, and wait for completion. Repair replaces missing or corrupted installed files while leaving the existing crash timestamp available for comparison.

Close overlays before the retest
Quit Discord's game overlay, Steam overlay, NVIDIA or AMD in-game overlay, recording tools, and any other app that draws over League. Keep antivirus and Windows Firewall enabled. Start only the Riot Client after the overlay apps are closed.

Test the same action in a custom game
Start a custom game and repeat the action that previously produced the dump. Success means League remains on the map and no new System Error or crash-dump prompt appears. If it crashes only after one overlay is restored, leave that League overlay disabled.

Update the GPU driver if the game window still crashes
Open Task Manager > Performance and note the NVIDIA, AMD, or Intel GPU model listed on the PC, then install its current Windows driver from that manufacturer's official site. Restart Windows and repeat the League action that produced the crash in one custom game with overlays still closed.

Send Riot the current crash evidence
If another dump occurs, run Riot Repair Tool as administrator, choose League of Legends, and attach its ZIP to a Riot Support ticket. Include the exact crash time, the System Error text, what happened in the match, and whether Client Repair and the clean overlay test changed the result.
If it does not work
If Windows itself shows a blue screen or restarts, stop this League crash-dump workflow and use Riot's Windows blue-screen guidance; the evidence is a Windows minidump, not only League logs.
If the crash prompt begins with a VAN code, use Riot's page for that exact Vanguard code before repairing unrelated game files.
If Client Repair fails, use Riot's Full Client Repair Failed article rather than manually deleting DATA, Config, or Logs folders.
