Allow or Block Website Notifications and Pop-Ups in Chrome

Separate the permissions
Website notifications are alert messages; pop-ups and redirects open windows or pages and use a different Chrome setting.
Open Site settings
Go to Settings > Privacy and security > Site settings, then open Notifications or Pop-ups and redirects.
Set a site exception
Search the site's permission entry and choose Allow, Block, or Reset rather than changing every site.
Remove abusive permission
Block unknown sites, remove deceptive extensions, and use Chrome Safety Check when alerts claim the computer is infected.
Verify the result
Trigger one legitimate site notification or pop-up and verify only that domain has the intended permission while unknown sites remain blocked.
