Close 3rd-Party Applications

Close Apex Legends and the Origin Launcher and open up your Task Manager. In the Processes tab, end the processes that could show an overlay while playing Apex Legends. For Example: Steam, Chrome, GeForce Experience, Anti-Virus, Discord, etc.

In the Startup section, disable some programs from starting up on system boot, to reduce the risk of the game crashes again.

  • In the compatibility tab, select Run the program in compatibility mode for Windows 7 and select Run the game as an administrator
