Record the exact stage

Note whether it says Verifying Files, verifying login information, downloading, or shows an error code. Capture the time and percentage.

Choose Wild Rift and the correct region on Riot's status page. Wait for Riot if an incident or maintenance is listed.

Force-close and restart

Close Wild Rift from recent apps, restart the phone, and open only the game.

Install updates

Update Wild Rift through Google Play or the App Store and install the current operating-system update supported by the phone.

Compare the connection

Try Wi-Fi and mobile data once each if your plan allows. Disable VPN, Private DNS, or proxy settings for this test.

Use platform app recovery

On Android, clear Wild Rift's cache first, not storage. On iPhone, use Offload App first so documents remain, then reinstall the app package.
