Close Background Apps
You can now close the game and all other applications running in the background, as resource-intensive programs can induce lag while running in the background.

Disable Background App Refresh While In-Game
Open up your native Settings applications. In the General section, tap on Background App Refresh. Disable the Background App Refresh option while playing the game.

Device Software Update
If you still experience lag and FPS drops while playing Genshin Impact, ensure your device runs the latest update. As a last resort, we suggest restarting your device if the game crashes or you experience network lag.
