Compare the PC with Konami's current Windows 11, processor, memory, graphics, resolution, storage, and DirectX requirements. The current minimum target is 1280 × 720, while the recommended target is 1920 × 1080.
Choose a Solo duel or another repeatable scene and note when animation becomes choppy. Use the same board, camera, and resolution after each change.

Change Quality to Normal
Open the game's Settings, choose General, and change Quality from High Resolution to Normal. Apply the change and replay the same scene before adjusting anything else.

Keep a readable resolution
Use the monitor's normal resolution first. If the game is still slow, try the next lower resolution and work toward Konami's 1280 × 720 minimum target, but stop if card text or menus become uncomfortable to read.

Compare Full Screen mode
Test Full Screen against the current windowed mode with the same resolution. Keep the mode that feels smoother and still works with the way you switch between the game and other apps.

Choose the faster GPU on a laptop
On a PC with two graphics processors, open Settings > System > Display > Graphics, select Master Duel, choose Options, and test High performance. Save the choice and restart the game.
Close browser video, downloads, and recording apps you do not need, then install current Windows and graphics-driver updates. If Master Duel alone still behaves abnormally, verify its Steam files before reinstalling it.
If card text becomes difficult to read, restore the previous resolution and keep Quality on Normal instead of lowering the screen further.
If animation is smooth but actions take a long time to register, check the connection and service status. That delay is not an FPS problem.
Do not force High priority in Task Manager or enable a driver-wide scaling override as a first fix. These changes can affect other apps and hide the setting that actually helped.
