Show Card Descriptions in Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel
Source-checked About 3 minutes
Answer
Open Master Duel's Submenu, choose Game Settings, and look under Duel for Automatically Display Card Descriptions. Set it to Show if that label is present, save, then start a Solo duel and select a card to verify the description panel. Konami does not publish the current menu path, so follow the labels shown in your installed version if they differ.
Before you continue
- Open Game SettingsUse Master Duel's own Submenu.
- Look under DuelThe older saved label is Automatically Display Card Descriptions.
- Test in SoloSelect a card and check that its text panel opens.
If it does not work
- If the option is missing, update Master Duel and inspect the current Duel settings; Konami may have moved or renamed it.
- If only some text is hidden, select the card and use the on-screen details control because the automatic panel can depend on the current duel view.
- If the setting resets, confirm that the game finished saving and that you reopened the same player account.
Sources and verification
Checked against official documentation on . Scope: Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel.
Konami confirms the current Master Duel product and platforms but does not publish this exact menu path. The written path comes from the preserved Tech How source and is deliberately conditional on the labels in the live game.
