Choose an Available Audio Track on a YouTube Video

Open a video, select Settings, then Audio track when the control is available, and choose a listed language. Audio tracks are set by the creator and are not offered for every video.
Open a video with multiple audio tracks
Choose the exact YouTube video you want to watch. The creator or YouTube must provide an additional track for that video; app language, captions, and translated titles are separate controls.
Open the video controls
Start the YouTube video, select the Settings gear in the player, and keep the video open while you inspect the controls available for this specific upload.
Check for Audio track
Select Audio track when it appears. If the option is missing, the current video does not offer another audio language through this player menu.
Select an available language
Choose one of the languages listed for that video and listen for the audio to change. If the desired language is absent, the player cannot select it for this upload.
Confirm the selected track
After choosing a language, play a spoken section and reopen Settings to confirm the selected track. Compare the original track if translation, dubbing, or audio description is not what you expected.
Understand the per-video limit
YouTube cannot switch to a language the creator has not provided or YouTube has not made available. Changing preferred languages can influence defaults but does not manufacture a missing track.
Return to the original audio
Select Original or another listed track from the same menu to revert. Use Subtitles/CC separately when you need translated text rather than dubbed audio.
