Ask your friend for the complete Riot ID, including the name and tagline after `#`. In Wild Rift, open the friends panel, choose Add Friend, enter both parts exactly, and send the request. After acceptance, create a party and select Invite. Accounts on incompatible regional shards may not be able to add each other.

Copy the complete Riot ID

Have your friend open their profile and send the exact `GameName#Tagline`, including capitalization and spaces.

Open the friends panel

From the Wild Rift home screen, tap the friends or social icon.

Choose Add Friend

Open the add control and enter the game name and tagline in the fields shown. Do not enter a phone number or email.

Send one request

Review the complete ID and send the request once. Ask the friend to check incoming requests.

Confirm acceptance

After the friend accepts, reopen the list and confirm the correct profile, status, and Riot ID.

Create a party

Open the play or lobby screen, select the friend, and tap Invite. Choose a mode both accounts can access.

Verify in the lobby

Confirm both names appear in the same party before starting matchmaking.

If it does not work

  • If no result appears, recopy both the game name and the tagline after `#`.
  • If the request is blocked, check privacy, parental controls, block lists, and whether either list is full.
  • If the accounts use incompatible regional services, Riot Support must explain the available account or shard options.
