Close 3rd-Party Applications
Open up your Task Manager. In the Processes section, ensure that 3rd party apps are not running on your PC. Especially Discord, Steam, Adobe applications, or any other program that could show an overlay while Valorant runs.

If the previous step did not help, you must reinstall Vanguard on your system. Open up your File Explorer, and navigate to the drive on which Valorant is saved on. Program Files > Riot Vanguard. Double-click the uninstall.exe application in the Riot Vanguard folder. Next, search for Uninstall to open up your Apps & Features system settings window.
