Use the current Copilot service
Open Microsoft Copilot and sign in with the account you intend to use. Open copilot.com for personal Copilot or the Microsoft 365 Copilot entry point supplied by the organization and verify the account shown.

Check account availability
Review the available Copilot access level and any account or organization notice before changing browser settings. Read any licensing, age, region, data-protection, or administrator notice before changing the browser; access may be intentionally controlled.

Retry in a clean session
Use a private browser window with interfering extensions disabled, then record the exact message if access remains unavailable. Retry in a current browser profile or private window, allowing required Microsoft cookies while leaving unrelated extensions and security settings unchanged.

Verify the result
Start a harmless test chat and verify that history, work/web mode, and data access match the intended account. Do not paste confidential material merely to test whether Copilot responds.

Troubleshoot Microsoft Copilot access
If personal access works but the work account fails, send the exact notice and account domain to the Microsoft 365 administrator. If every browser fails, check Microsoft service health and support. Do not create extra accounts to bypass an organizational restriction.
