For Twitch ‘Error Loading Data’ in Chrome, use one of Chrome's two latest versions, temporarily disable extensions, then clear Twitch cookies and cached files. Restart Chrome and test again. If it still fails, disconnect a VPN, compare another network, and try another device. Twitch recommends this order because it separates a browser problem from a network or device problem.
Reload Twitch and note whether the whole page says “Error Loading Data” or only the video fails. Use Twitch's playback guide for a video-only error; continue here when page data, follows, chat, or account panels do not load.

Disable extensions for one test
Open Chrome's Extensions page and turn extensions off temporarily, especially tools that change page scripts or network requests. Do not remove them yet; the goal is to see whether Twitch loads without them.

Clear Twitch cookies and cache
After disabling extensions, clear cookies and cached images and files for Twitch, then close every Twitch tab. This signs you out and removes stored site data that may no longer match the current page.
Quit Chrome completely, reopen it, sign into Twitch, and test the same page. If it works, enable extensions one at a time until you find the conflict.

Test the network and device
If the error remains, disconnect a VPN, try another trusted network, and then another device. If only one device fails, collect Chrome Console and Network screenshots using Twitch's instructions before contacting support.
If Twitch loads after extensions are disabled, re-enable them one at a time and leave only the conflicting extension off for Twitch.
