How to Add Friends in Subway Surfers

Open Profile > Friends > Add Friend, then scan the other player's QR code or enter their Friend Tag. The current Friends List replaces the older Facebook-based method, so previous Facebook friends must be added again with the new system.
Update Subway Surfers
Install the current Subway Surfers update from the device's official app store, then open the game and confirm your normal profile is loaded.
Open your profile
From the main screen, open Profile and select the Friends tab. If Friends is missing, restart after updating and confirm the account meets the displayed age and online-feature requirements.
Tap Add Friend
Choose Add Friend to open the current connection options. Subway Surfers supports a QR code and a unique Friend Tag rather than a name-only search.
Scan a friend's QR code
Choose the scan option, allow camera access only while using the feature, and place the friend's QR code inside the frame. Verify the displayed profile before confirming.
Enter a Friend Tag instead
Choose the Friend Tag option, copy or type the tag exactly, and send the request. Do not post a personal QR code or account details publicly.
Confirm the connection
Return to Profile > Friends and check the request or friend entry. If the acceptance is missing, both players should close and reopen the game once.
Re-add older Facebook friends
The current system does not carry over the old Facebook friend list. Exchange a QR code or Friend Tag with each person you want to add again.

If it does not work
- If a valid tag is not found, confirm both games are updated and re-copy every character without spaces.
- If Friends remains unavailable, use in-game support; do not change an account birthday or install a modified client.
