Change the Email Address on Your Spotify Account

Sign in to your Spotify account page in a browser, enter the new email address and current password, save the change, then check the confirmation email. Some sign-in methods have different account-management options.
Confirm the Spotify account
Sign in and check the displayed profile before editing anything, especially if several Spotify accounts use the same device. Make sure you can access the new inbox and know the current Spotify password.
Open your Spotify account page
Open Spotify's Edit personal info page in a browser and sign in to the account you checked. In the mobile app, you can instead tap the profile picture, open Settings and privacy > Account, and tap the current email address.
Enter the new email address
Under Email, enter the new address carefully. On the web page, enter the current Spotify password as confirmation; never provide an email verification code or password to another person.
Confirm the change
Select Save profile on the web, or save the account change in the app. Return to the account page and confirm that the new address is displayed before closing the old inbox or changing any sign-in method.
Verify the result
Sign out and sign in again using the account's normal login method. Verify that the profile and playlists are the expected ones and that account messages reach the new inbox.
Handle a missing email field
If the email cannot be edited, check how the Spotify account was created and use Spotify's support path for that sign-in method. Do not create a second account as a workaround because subscriptions, saved music, and playlists do not automatically move to it.

- If Spotify rejects the new address, check for a typing error and whether that address already belongs to another Spotify account.
- If the displayed email changed without your permission, secure the account through Spotify's hacked-account guidance instead of simply changing it again.
