See Devices Signed In to a Google Account

Source-checked About 10 minutes

Answer

Open Google Account Security > Your devices to review current and recent sessions. Sign out a device you do not recognize and secure the account.

Open the correct Google Account

Go to your Google Account and select Security. Check the profile image and email address first if the browser contains several signed-in accounts; device history belongs to the account currently selected.

Open the device list

Under Your devices, choose Manage all devices. Google shows devices and sessions where the account is currently signed in or was active recently, so one physical device may appear as more than one session.

Inspect each entry

Select a device to review its model or browser, last activity, apps or services, and approximate location. Location and time are clues rather than proof because mobile networks, VPNs, background synchronization, and shared devices can affect them.

Sign out lost or unfamiliar sessions

Choose Sign out for a session you no longer use or do not recognize, then confirm. If several sessions share the same device name, review and sign out each suspicious entry. Some device types require removal through their own account settings.

Respond to suspected compromise

Review Recent security activity, change the password to a unique one, and remove unknown recovery email addresses, phone numbers, passkeys, or third-party access. Do this from a trusted device rather than the potentially compromised computer.

Strengthen future sign-in security

Enable 2-Step Verification or passkeys and save recovery options in a secure place. Recheck Manage all devices after the changes; an entry can take a short time to update, and signing out does not remotely erase the physical device.

If it does not work

  • If a session is unfamiliar, sign it out and review Recent security activity immediately. A familiar device with an unexpected location can reflect a VPN or network estimate, so compare its activity and session details before concluding that the account was compromised.
