Fix 'This Purchase Was Not Completed' in Roblox on Android
Source-checked · About 10 minutes
Answer
If Google Play shows 'This Purchase Was Not Completed' before charging you, check the payment method and any Google Payments alert, make the Android time and time zone automatic, update Google Play, then reopen Roblox and try once. If Google Play already issued a receipt but the Robux or item is missing, do not buy it again: verify the correct Roblox account and follow Roblox's missing-purchase check below.
Open the Play Store, tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions > Budget & history. Find the attempted Roblox order. If there is no completed order, continue with the payment checks. If the order is completed or you have a Google Play receipt, skip to the missing-purchase step and do not pay a second time.
2
Fix the payment method or account alert
For an uncompleted order, open the Roblox purchase screen again and tap the payment method shown in the Google Play confirmation box. Choose another available method or add one. If the message asks for more information, open payments.google.com with the same Google Account and complete the alert; also check the card expiry, billing address, and available funds before retrying.
3
Handle a family approval or Roblox spending limit
If Google Play says approval is required, ask the family manager to open Play Store > profile picture > Settings > Family > Manage approval requests, or Family Link > child > Controls > Google Play. If Roblox says the monthly spending limit was reached, a linked parent can review it under Roblox Settings > Parental Controls > Settings you manage > Spending restrictions; another payment method will not bypass that limit.
4
Set Android time and time zone automatically
Open Android Settings > System > Date & time. Turn on Set time automatically and Set time zone automatically, wait a few minutes, then return to Roblox. If both were already on, leave them on and continue; changing the clock manually is not the fix.
5
Update Google Play and reopen Roblox
In the Play Store, tap your profile picture > Settings > About > Update Play Store. Then open Android Settings > Apps > Roblox > Force stop and launch Roblox again. Sign in to the intended Roblox account, open the same Robux or item offer, and make one new purchase attempt.
6
Recover a completed purchase that is missing
If Google Play shows a completed order or receipt but the Robux or item is absent, confirm that Roblox is signed in to the account that made the purchase. Tap the same product once to open the Google Play confirmation box, then tap outside the box to cancel without buying again. Roblox says the product should then be applied; check the Robux balance or owned item afterward.
7
Verify the result or contact the correct support team
Success means Google Play records one completed order and the Robux balance or purchased item appears on the same Roblox account. For a payment that Google Play still declines, follow the exact Google alert or contact the card issuer. For a completed Google Play order that Roblox still has not delivered, contact Roblox Support with the username, Android model and version, exact message, order date, and Google Play receipt number.
If it does not work
If the Google Play confirmation box shows the wrong Google Account, cancel it. Switch to the intended account in the Play Store before trying again; do not purchase first and hope Roblox moves the order later.
If the card is expired, the billing address does not match, or Google Payments shows a verification alert, correct that specific item. Reinstalling Roblox cannot repair a payment-profile rejection.
If the purchase is pending rather than completed, wait for Google Play to finish or cancel it according to its order status. Do not create duplicate attempts while money is still pending.
Roblox says purchases are not supported on rooted devices. This tutorial does not provide a bypass; use a supported Android device or contact Roblox Support.
