Roblox Not Loading on iPhone or iPad? Try These Fixes

Source-checked About 8 minutes

Answer

If Roblox opens but Home or an experience keeps loading, test a second public experience and check Roblox Status. Then update Roblox, move from cellular data to stable Wi-Fi, close the app from the iPhone app switcher, and retry. Delete and redownload Roblox only when the app-wide loading failure remains.

Identify the Roblox screen that will not load

Open Roblox and note whether the app stays on its opening screen, Home appears without experience tiles, or one experience remains on Joining Server. If Roblox closes instead of continuing to load, use the iPhone crash guide; the steps below target a loading screen that remains open.

Try a second public experience

If Roblox Home appears, open a different public experience and tap Play. When the second one reaches gameplay, the iPhone app is working; return to the original experience later or report that experience instead of deleting Roblox.

Check Roblox Status

If Home or every experience keeps loading, open status.roblox.com in Safari. Look for an active incident affecting players or experiences. Wait when Roblox reports a problem, then retry the same screen after the incident is resolved.

Update Roblox in App Store

Open App Store, tap your profile picture, and find Roblox under App Updates. Tap Update, wait until the button changes to Open, then return to the exact Home or experience screen that would not finish loading.

Move the test to stable Wi-Fi

Connect the iPhone or iPad to a trusted Wi-Fi network, then retry Roblox once. Roblox recommends Wi-Fi when cellular data is unstable. If the same screen loads on Wi-Fi, the cellular connection was the difference; no VPN is needed for this test.

Close and reopen Roblox

Open the iPhone or iPad app switcher, swipe the Roblox preview up and off the screen, and tap Roblox again. If the loading screen remains across all experiences, restart the device normally and repeat the same test once.

Check iOS and the device clock

Open Settings > General > About and confirm iOS or iPadOS 14 or later. Install an offered update under Settings > General > Software Update. Then open Settings > General > Date & Time and make sure the displayed date, time, and time zone are correct before reopening Roblox.

Delete and redownload Roblox last

Confirm the Roblox username, password, and recovery method first. Delete Roblox, redownload the official app from App Store, sign into the same account, and open the original screen. The loading problem is fixed when Home displays its content and Play reaches the selected experience.

Original sponsored links, not a Roblox fix

Roblox and Apple do not list a VPN in this iPhone loading procedure. The two original PrivadoVPN links are preserved as sponsored provenance only and are not required to complete or verify the steps above.

If it does not work

  • If Home loads but one experience stays on Joining Server, test another experience. A working second experience points to the first experience's server, permissions, or device support rather than an iOS app-loading failure.
  • If Roblox shows No Network while Safari also cannot open a page, reconnect Wi-Fi before changing Roblox. If Safari works, record the exact Roblox message and whether Home or Play is affected.
  • If the freshly installed app still cannot load Home, send Roblox Support the iPhone or iPad model, iOS version, Roblox username, exact screen, error message, network test, and steps already completed.

The written order follows Roblox and Apple's current iOS app guidance; a VPN is not part of the supported fix.
