Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is back and better than ever! With its cutting-edge graphics and intense multiplayer action, players are clamoring to get their hands on this highly anticipated game. But what if you could get in on the action before everyone else? That's right, you can join the Early Access program and start playing Modern Warfare 2 ahead of the official release date. In this article, we'll take a look at how to join the Early Access program and get you playing as soon as possible. So, gear up and let's get started!

Pre-Order the game digitally

If you have pre-ordered the game digitally, then you do not need to worry about early access at all. As soon as the early access portion of the beta release is live, you will gain access to the game on your platform and receive an email from the Call of Duty platform with proper instructions. Remember that PlayStation gets access about a week before Xbox and PC pre-order users. If you pre-ordered the game in a store or get a beta code from some other source, then you need to know how to turn that beta code into something that you can use for your platform. If you enter that code into your platform directly, it doesn't work.

Here is what you’ll need to do.

Redeem code for early access

Go to the Call Of Duty platform. Sign in to your Activision account. If you haven't signed in or logged in, you’ll have these options.

Once you are signed in you’ll have the option to link your accounts.

When you click on the account link you can have multiple options for linking your accounts according to your platform of choice (PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, or Battle.Net.

After linking your platform, make sure to head back to the Call Of Duty main page. Just click on the Redeem Code option to receive the early access code provided by either your retailer or another source.

Here you’ll need to enter the received code for early access and select your linked platform and location.

After submitting this information you’ll have a final screen before the Call of Duty platform will send you an access code via email closer to the live date.

If you have done all the steps mentioned above successfully you can visit the Basic info tab to check your provided email where you’ll receive the code.
