Reset and Reassign Skill Points in Lost Ark

Press K to open Combat Skills, remove points from skills you no longer want, and assign those points to other skills. Save the setup in a skill preset if you want to switch back later. This changes skill-point allocation, not the character's class or advanced class.

Open Combat Skills

Press K while the character is in a safe area. The panel shows learned skills, their current levels, and the available skill points.

Check the active preset

Look at the preset number or name before editing. Switching presets later can make it seem as though your changes disappeared.

Remove points from a skill

Select the skill you want to change and use the minus control or reset option until the unwanted points return to the available pool.

Assign the recovered points

Select another skill and add points gradually. Read each new effect and tripod choice instead of copying a build for a different activity or character level.

Use Recommended only as a starting point

If the Recommended option is available, treat it as a suggestion. Review the resulting skills and make sure the build suits raids, solo play, or the activity you intend to run.

Save and test the preset

Save the build to the active preset, place its skills on the hotbar, and test it in a safe area. This process does not change the character's class or advanced class.

If it does not work

  • If points seem missing, check the active skill preset and whether the skill is already using them.
  • If a skill cannot be raised further, read its character-level, skill-level, or point requirement.
  • If you wanted to change class rather than skills, stop here; a skill reset cannot turn the character into another class or advanced class.
