Open Riot's Xbox Game Pass Welcome Page, select Sign in with Xbox, sign in to the Xbox profile that has Game Pass, then sign in to the existing Riot Account you want to link. Confirm the result under Riot Account Management > Connected Accounts. An active Game Pass subscription is required for benefits, and new benefits can take up to 24 hours to appear.
Before opening the linking page, identify the Xbox profile that owns the active Game Pass membership and the Riot Account that holds your League, VALORANT, TFT, Wild Rift, or Legends of Runeterra progress. Sign out of Microsoft or Riot in the browser first if it is showing a different account.

Open Riot's Xbox Game Pass Welcome Page
Go to Riot's linking page and select Sign in with Xbox. Check that the address begins with account.riotgames.com before entering either account's credentials.
Complete Microsoft's sign-in for the intended Xbox profile and approve the request to continue to Riot. If the browser displays the wrong Microsoft email or Xbox profile, go back and switch accounts before approving the link.

Sign in to the existing Riot Account
When Riot asks, sign in to the Riot Account that already contains your game progress, then complete any email or multi-factor verification. Create a new Riot Account only if you do not already have one; a new account will not contain progress from another Riot Account.

Confirm Xbox under Connected Accounts
Open Riot Account Management and scroll to Connected Accounts. The Xbox row should say Connected. If the linked Xbox profile has an active Game Pass membership, Riot also shows a Game Pass member indicator. This is the immediate success check for the account link.

Check the benefit inside a Riot game
Close and reopen the Riot game. Riot displays an in-game notification when benefits activate, and Game Pass content carries a Rewards Program indicator in the relevant collection. Activation can take up to 24 hours, so a correct Connected Accounts row may appear before the in-game reward.
If it does not work
If Xbox says Connected but no Game Pass member indicator appears, confirm that the same Xbox profile has an active eligible Game Pass subscription. Linking a profile without an active membership does not unlock Riot benefits.
If the membership is active and the link is correct, relaunch the game and allow up to 24 hours. Contact Riot Player Support if benefits are still missing after that period.
If the wrong Xbox profile was linked, open Riot Account Management > Connected Accounts and select the minus icon beside Xbox. Unlinking removes Game Pass benefits immediately; then repeat the link with the correct profile.
