Recover Deleted iPhone Contacts From iCloud

Check Recently Deleted where available or use iCloud.com Data Recovery to restore an archived contacts version; export current contacts first because restore replaces the list.
Check the contact account
Identify whether the missing contacts were stored in iCloud, Google, Exchange, or another service.
Protect the current list
Export or otherwise back up current contacts before restoring an older archive.
Restore from iCloud
On iCloud.com open Data Recovery > Restore Contacts and choose an archive from before the deletion.
Allow sync to finish
Keep the iPhone online and signed into the same Apple Account; use the original provider's recovery tools for non-iCloud contacts.
