For your own iPhone, open Settings > Screen Time. For a child in Family Sharing, open the child's Screen Time controls from the organizer's device. Use a Screen Time passcode the child does not know when the restriction must remain enforced.

Enable Content & Privacy Restrictions
Open Content & Privacy Restrictions and turn it on. If Screen Time requests a passcode, enter the Screen Time passcode rather than the device-unlock code.

Open Web Content
Select App Store, Media, Web, & Games > Web Content. Labels can change with an iOS update, so follow Apple's current hierarchy rather than installing an unknown filtering profile.

Select Limit Adult Websites
Choose Limit Adult Websites. This uses Apple's automatic filtering and is not a guarantee that every unsuitable site will be categorized correctly.

Add explicit allowed or blocked URLs
Under Always Allow or Never Allow, choose Add Website and enter the full, correct address. Add only domains you understand; blocking a shared domain can affect unrelated pages or sign-in services.

Test in the browser
Open Safari or the browser used on the device and test a known blocked address plus a legitimate site. Confirm the Screen Time passcode is required to override the restriction.

Review the list over time
Return to Web Content to correct false positives, remove obsolete entries, or strengthen a child's settings. Combine technical controls with age-appropriate supervision because no automated filter is complete.
If the setting is unavailable or changes do not persist, check Family Sharing ownership and device-management restrictions. If one site still loads, verify its exact hostname and alternate domains before adding them; do not install unverified certificates, VPNs, or filtering apps as a shortcut.
