Start the message
Compose or reply in Mail, tap inside the body, and open the editing or attachment controls.
Choose the attachment type
Select Attach File for Files, Insert Photo or Video for Photos, or Scan Documents for a new PDF scan.
Watch provider size limits
Large attachments can exceed the recipient or mail provider limit; Mail Drop may be offered for eligible iCloud Mail sending.
