Change Display Colors on iPhone

On iPhone, go to Settings > Accessibility > Display & Text Size > Color Filters, turn on Color Filters, choose a filter, then adjust its intensity or hue. You can also use Smart Invert or Classic Invert from Display & Text Size. These settings change how the display looks, including photos and videos; they do not edit the original files.
Decide what you need to change
Use Color Filters when you need grayscale, a color-vision filter, or a screen tint. Use Smart Invert or Classic Invert when reversing display colors is more useful than applying a filter.
Open Display & Text Size
Open Settings, tap Accessibility, then tap Display & Text Size. This is the Apple-documented location for display color accommodations on iPhone.
Open Color Filters
Tap Color Filters, then turn on Color Filters. The screen immediately changes when a filter is enabled, so pause before changing other accessibility settings.
Choose a filter
Select the filter that meets the viewing need, such as Grayscale or one of the color-vision options. Use the on-screen examples to compare the result before leaving Settings.
Adjust the result
Use the available intensity or hue slider to make the filter comfortable. Apple notes that filters can change the appearance of images and videos, so check important content before relying on the display effect.
Try invert colors when appropriate
Return to Display & Text Size and turn on Smart Invert or Classic Invert if that better suits the task. Smart Invert leaves images out where possible, while Classic Invert reverses all onscreen colors.

If it does not work
- If photos or video look inaccurate, turn Color Filters off temporarily before editing or judging their original color; the setting changes display appearance rather than the media file.
- If Night Shift is scheduled and the screen becomes warmer, remember Apple says Night Shift removes inverted colors and most color-filter effects except grayscale.
