How to Install Roblox on Mac
Source-checked About 10 minutes
Answer
Sign in at Roblox.com, open an experience, select the green Play button, then open Roblox.dmg and complete the installer. Select Play again and allow the browser to open Roblox.app. Success means the selected experience opens in Roblox Player, not in the browser tab.
If it does not work
- If Firefox cannot find Roblox.app, press Command-Shift-G in its chooser, enter /Applications/Roblox.app/Contents/MacOS/Roblox.app, select Roblox.app, and choose Open Link.
- If Roblox shows Upgrade Failed, return to the experience page in the browser and select Play so Roblox can install the current player.
- If Roblox.dmg opens but Roblox never appears in Applications, close Roblox, restart the Mac, and repeat the official installer before deleting any Library files.

Roblox Player launches separately from the browser. Firefox can require choosing the installed Roblox.app for roblox-player links.
