Choose the edition

On Blackmagic Design's DaVinci Resolve page, compare the free edition with DaVinci Resolve Studio and select the Windows download you intend to use.

Use the official download

Complete the requested registration fields, download the Windows package, and verify it came from blackmagicdesign.com.

Extract and run setup

Open the downloaded archive, run the installer, and keep the required components selected unless your organization has a different deployment plan.

Finish installation

Complete the prompts and restart Windows if the installer requests it.

Launch and test

Open DaVinci Resolve, complete the initial setup, create a test project, and confirm video playback and audio output.
