How to Find Legitimate Free Avatar Items on Roblox

Source-checked About 10 minutes

Answer

Open Marketplace on the official Roblox website, narrow the results with the Price filter, and claim only an item whose detail page currently shows a price of 0 Robux. Free items and promotions change; an old list or video cannot prove that an item is still free.

Open the Roblox Marketplace

Sign in at roblox.com, select Marketplace at the top of the page, then choose the avatar-item category you want or search for an item type. Stay on roblox.com; a legitimate claim does not require a second website login.

Filter for free items

Open the Price filter and set the maximum price to 0 when that option is available. Check that the visible results show 0 Robux before opening one; do not rely on a search-result thumbnail alone.

Inspect the item page

Select the item and confirm that its detail page still shows 0 Robux, the expected item type, and an active purchase control. If it is Limited or Limited U, check the displayed seller and current price because resale copies may cost Robux.

Confirm the 0-Robux claim

Select the purchase control, read the confirmation screen, and proceed only if the total remains 0 Robux. Stop if the price changed, the control is unavailable, or the confirmation shows a paid resale.

Verify the inventory

Open your Roblox Inventory or Avatar editor and find the item under its displayed type. Equip it to confirm that the claim reached the same account.

Avoid fake free-item offers

Do not enter your Roblox password, cookie, or verification code on a third-party giveaway page, and do not install an executor, generator, or browser extension. A genuine Marketplace claim completes on Roblox's own item page.

If it does not work

  • If no 0-Robux results appear, remove extra category or creator filters and try the Price filter again. If the item now costs Robux or its purchase control is disabled, it is not currently claimable for free.
  • If the claim completed but the item is not in Inventory, confirm that you are signed into the same account and look under the item type shown on its detail page before contacting Roblox Support.
