In HoYoPlay, open the menu beside Start Game and select Repair Now. Let the file check finish, reopen HoYoPlay, and start Genshin Impact. If error 31-4302 remains, reinstall the game from the official Genshin Impact download instead of manually deleting DLL or plugin folders. HoYoverse does not currently document this code by number in its support center.
Close Genshin Impact, open HoYoPlay, and open the menu beside Start Game. Select Repair Now and let the file check and any download finish before closing the launcher.

Launch the repaired game
Reopen HoYoPlay and select Start Game. The repair worked if Genshin Impact reaches the login screen or game without displaying 31-4302 again.

Reconnect an existing installation
If HoYoPlay shows Download instead of Start Game, select Find Game near the download button and choose the main Genshin Impact installation folder containing the game executable. Run Repair Now after HoYoPlay recognizes it.

Reinstall from the official download
If 31-4302 remains after Repair Now, uninstall Genshin Impact and install it again from HoYoverse's official PC download. Use a stable connection and confirm the destination has enough space; do not apply old fixes that delete individual DLL, plugin, or data folders.

Send the result to HoYoverse
If a fresh official installation still shows 31-4302, contact HoYoverse Support with a screenshot of the full error, the steps already completed, and the client log from HoYoPlay Settings > About > Upload Log. This gives support the code-specific evidence its public article does not provide.
If it does not work
If Repair Now cannot finish, confirm the drive has enough free space and retry on a stable connection before reinstalling.
If security software quarantined a Genshin Impact or HoYoPlay file, restore only a file you can verify belongs to the official installation, then run Repair Now again.
Do not delete a Plugins folder, DLL, or game-data file because an old forum or video recommends it; HoYoverse's current support path repairs or reinstalls the official files instead.
