Download High-Resolution Textures in Fortnite

Answer
On PC, add Fortnite's High-Resolution Textures from the Epic Games Launcher options. Epic says this option is not currently available on iOS or Android.
Open Epic Games Launcher
Start the official Epic Games Launcher on the PC where Fortnite is installed.
Open Library
Select Library from the left-hand menu.
Find Fortnite
Locate Fortnite in the Library before opening its menu.
Open Options
Select the three dots next to Fortnite and choose Options.
Enable the texture pack
Check High-Resolution Textures in the installation options.
Apply the download
Select Apply, wait for the optional content to finish installing, then start Fortnite.

If it does not work
- High-Resolution Textures are not currently available on iOS or Android, so do not look for this launcher option on those devices.
- If storage is limited, Epic also documents that removing high-resolution textures can reduce the installation size. Do not delete game folders manually.
- Check available storage before selecting Apply because the optional texture pack increases the Fortnite installation size. Wait for the Epic Games Launcher download to finish before starting a match.
- Use the same Options menu later if storage becomes limited. Epic documents that you can remove High-Resolution Textures rather than manually deleting Fortnite folders.
- High-Resolution Textures do not guarantee a visual or performance improvement on every display. Test them on the intended PC and restore the previous option if the added storage is not worthwhile.
