Open the Templates area
Use CapCut's Templates section on a supported platform and browse or search for a suitable template. Search by creator, title, or category and preview the complete template so you know the number, aspect ratio, and duration of required clips.
Open the template preview and select Use Template when that option is available. Use Template only when shown for that account and region; do not change device region or install a modified build to force availability.

Add media and export
Replace the placeholders with your own clips or photos, review the result, and export it. Fill every placeholder in order, trim the selected media deliberately, replace sample text, inspect audio rights, and preview the complete edit before export.

Verify the result
Watch the exported file from beginning to end and check cropping, text, audio, transitions, watermark or attribution requirements, and output dimensions on the destination device.

Troubleshoot CapCut templates
If Templates or Use Template is absent, update CapCut, sign in, try the supported web or mobile route, and check regional availability. If one template fails, it may have been removed; choose another current template instead of using a copied download. Before exporting, scrub through every placeholder and confirm that no sample clip, text, logo, or unwanted template audio remains. Review the export resolution and any music licensing requirement for the place where the finished video will be published.
