In Fall Guys, open Settings > Audio, scroll to Voice Chat, and choose your preferences. Voice chat defaults to off, and child or cabined accounts can require a parent or guardian to change Epic account permissions.
If you are under your country's age of digital consent, ask a parent or guardian to review the Epic account's voice-chat permission. Fall Guys support says chat is disabled for children under 10 and availability can differ for cabined accounts.
2
Launch Fall Guys
Open Fall Guys and wait until the main menu is fully loaded. Confirm you use the Epic account whose communication settings you intend to change.
3
Open Audio settings
Select Settings from the game menu, then select Audio. Do not confuse console, Windows, or headset privacy controls with Fall Guys' in-game Voice Chat preference.
4
Find Voice Chat
Scroll to the Voice Chat section and choose the available preference deliberately. The setting defaults to Off, so changing another audio slider does not enable party voice chat.
5
Set Epic account permissions when needed
If the game still says voice chat is unavailable, have the parent or guardian set the Epic account voice-chat permission to Friends and Teammates or Everybody when appropriate. Friends Only and Nobody do not make Fall Guys voice chat available under Epic's current guidance.
6
Test with a trusted party
Join a party with a trusted friend, speak briefly, and check whether you can hear each other before starting a match. Use the game and platform reporting tools if another player behaves inappropriately rather than sharing personal contact details.
