Record the visual problem

Capture a short clip showing the area, character, graphics settings, and whether black boxes, flicker, or invisible enemies appear.

Restart cleanly

Return to the title screen, close Elden Ring, restart Windows, and launch without other games or graphics tools.

Disable modifications

Remove ReShade, texture packs, frame-generation tools, and mods for one test. Restore original files rather than mixing modded and unmodified files.

Verify the game files

In Steam, open Elden Ring > Properties > Installed Files > Verify integrity and wait for redownloads to finish.

Update the graphics driver
