Copy a Minecraft Bedrock World to Another Device With Realms

Minecraft's current cross-device Bedrock method uses an active trial or paid Realms subscription. Upload the world from the original device, then download it on the destination device. The downloaded copy is named “World name - Copy.”
Use this method only for Minecraft: Bedrock Edition with an active trial or paid Realms subscription. Update Minecraft on both devices before you begin.

Back up the original world
Keep the original world unchanged until the transfer finishes. Do not choose Replace World on a Realm slot that contains a world you need to keep.

Open the world on the host device
Launch Minecraft on the original device, select Play, open the Realms tab, and select the Realm you will use for the transfer.
Open Settings on that Realm, select the target world slot, choose Edit World, and scroll to the bottom of the Game Settings tab.

Upload the world
Choose Upload World for an empty slot. Choose Replace World only when you intentionally want to overwrite that Realm slot, then confirm the upload.

Sign in on the destination device
Open Minecraft on the destination device and sign in with the same Microsoft account. Select Play, open Realms, and select the Realm with the uploaded world.

Download the copy
Open the Realm Settings, select the same slot, choose Edit World, scroll to the bottom, and select Download World. Confirm that the new world appears under Worlds before changing the original.

If it does not work
If the world does not appear, check that both devices use current Minecraft versions and the same Microsoft account before uploading again.
Replace World overwrites a Realm slot. Stop and back up first if you are unsure which Realm world is selected.
