If you own the server or have an eligible moderation permission, open its Members page and search for the person; Discord shows when they joined that server separately from when they created their Discord account. Members without access to this page must ask authorized server staff, and Discord does not document this field as a permanent first-ever join history after someone leaves and rejoins.
Decide whether you need when the person joined this server or when their Discord account was created. The Members page presents these as different facts, so do not substitute Joined Discord for Member Since.
2
Open the server's Members page
On Discord desktop or web, open the server. In a Community server, select Members above the channel list; in another server, open the server name > Server Settings > User Management > Members.
3
Find the member
Select the Members search box and enter the person's username or server display name. Choose the matching result and confirm it is the intended account before using the date.
4
Read the server join date
Read the Member Since or server-join information in that member's row or details. Keep it separate from Joined Discord, which is the age of the person's Discord account.
5
Verify the server context
Check the server name and member identity again before recording the date. A date from another mutual server or the account's creation date does not answer when this member joined the current server.
6
Ask authorized staff when access is unavailable
If the Members page is absent, ask the server owner or an authorized moderator to check it. Do not install a client modification, scraper, or unknown bot merely to expose member records.
7
Treat the date as the current record
Discord's official guide does not promise that Member Since preserves a person's first-ever join after leaving and rejoining. Describe it as the date Discord currently shows, not an independently audited lifetime history.

If it does not work
If Members is missing, use desktop or web and check whether your role has one of Discord's eligible permissions; mobile does not currently provide the Members page.
If search returns similar names, open the member details and verify the account before recording a date.
If only Joined Discord is visible, do not report it as the server join date; ask authorized staff to check Member Since.
If historical first-join evidence matters after a leave and rejoin, state the uncertainty and consult legitimate server records rather than inferring from message history or a scraper.
ⓘ Sources and verification
Checked against official documentation on . Scope: Discord desktop, Discord web.
Discord's current Members page explicitly shows when a person joined the server and distinguishes that from account age; access is limited to owners and eligible staff on desktop or web.
