Open MEE6's official dashboard, sign in with Discord, select Setup beside the intended server, review the Discord authorization screen, and enable only one needed plugin before testing it in a non-sensitive channel. MEE6's current help says the server must be visible to an owner or Administrator, and Administrator roles have full access to both the MEE6 dashboard and Discord server settings, so do not grant that role merely to complete setup.
Decide which single MEE6 plugin and test channel you need before signing in, such as a welcome message in a private test channel. Do not grant somebody Administrator simply to make the server appear: that role also gives full Discord server-settings and MEE6 dashboard access.

Open MEE6's official dashboard
Go to MEE6's dashboard and sign in with Discord, then confirm the username and avatar in the top-right belong to the account that manages the target server. Find that server in the list and select Setup.
On Discord's authorization screen, verify the selected server, expand the requested access, and read every permission before Authorize. Cancel if the server or access is wrong; never paste a Discord token, backup code, or session cookie into a bot site or support message.
4
Confirm MEE6 reached the intended server
In Discord desktop, open Server Settings > Integrations and confirm MEE6 appears, then check its bot account in the member list. Return to the MEE6 dashboard and make sure the same server now opens instead of showing Setup.
5
Enable and test one plugin
In the MEE6 dashboard, open the intended server, choose one plugin, enable it, and restrict its roles and channels before saving. Trigger it once in the non-sensitive test channel and confirm the expected message or command result before enabling moderation, role changes, or automation more widely.
6
Limit who can change MEE6
Review which Discord roles have Administrator because MEE6 says those roles can access its dashboard and Discord server settings. Keep that group small; if Premium Bot Master is used, grant it only to people who should change MEE6 settings and verify their access separately.

If it does not work
If the server is missing from MEE6's dashboard, verify the dashboard username and avatar, then sign out and use the Discord account that owns the server or already has Administrator; do not broaden a role just to reveal the server.
If a command works in some channels but not the test channel, inspect that channel's View Channel and Send Messages permissions and Server Settings > Integrations > MEE6 command access before granting Administrator.
If MEE6 cannot assign a role, its role must have Manage Roles and sit above the role it manages; move only that integration role as high as the task requires.
If the wrong server or access was authorized, remove MEE6 from the server's member list and review Server Settings > Integrations before repeating Setup from the official dashboard.
