Open the exact Hydra listing
In Discord desktop or a browser, open the target server, select its name, then choose Server Settings > App Directory and search for Hydra. Open application 547905866255433758; you must own the server or have Manage Server to add it.
Select Add App > Add to Server, choose the intended server, and read every permission and data-access notice before Authorize. The current listing says Hydra can read messages and member information, so cancel if that scope is inappropriate for the server.

Verify the intended app was added
Open Server Settings > Integrations > Bots and Apps and confirm Hydra appears, then check the member list for its bot account. This verifies installation without enabling an automation or changing member roles.

Configure one feature and verify it
Open Hydra's official dashboard, select the same test server, and configure only the feature you intended; keep its channels and roles narrow. Return to Discord and verify the visible result in that test channel or use Hydra's current slash-command picker, rather than assuming an old music command still works.
If a music command from the embedded video is absent, that is a product mismatch, not an installation failure; current first-party pages do not document Hydra as a music bot.
If Hydra is installed but one feature does nothing, confirm the same server is selected in Hydra's dashboard, then inspect that feature's channel and role settings before granting broader permissions.
If the server or listing is wrong, remove Hydra from the member list and inspect Server Settings > Integrations before repeating the exact App Directory flow.
