Sign in to Roblox, open Settings > Security, find the active 2-Step Verification method, and turn it off. Complete the password or verification prompt Roblox shows. Because this weakens the account, first make sure its email, phone number, passkey, and backup codes are up to date.

Confirm a recovery method
Before changing Security settings, verify the account email or phone number and save fresh backup codes somewhere private. Roblox Support may require proof that you own the account.

Open Account Settings
Sign in to Roblox. In a browser, select the gear icon and Settings. In the mobile app, open More, then Settings. Choose Security.

Find the active 2-step method
Look for the enabled authenticator app, email, or another 2-Step Verification option. Roblox allows one primary verification method at a time.

Turn the method off
Switch off the active option and complete the password or verification request shown by Roblox. Never give that code to another person or paste it into a different website.
Sign out and sign back in on your own device. Confirm that the recovery email, phone, or passkey remains correct. Re-enable 2-step verification as soon as the temporary reason for disabling it is over.
If it does not work
If you cannot receive a code, use Roblox's verification troubleshooting page and the account's saved backup codes.
If the Security switch is unavailable, check parental controls, account restrictions, and whether you signed in to the correct account.
Roblox Support will not need your password or current verification code. Do not use an account recovery service that asks for either.
