How to Delete your Roblox Account on PC & Mobile

Source-checked About 10 minutes

Answer

To permanently delete a Roblox account, open Roblox’s Support Form, choose Data Privacy Requests, select the appropriate Right To Be Forgotten option, submit the request, and complete Roblox’s identity verification. Deactivation is different: it hides and disables the account but can be reversed by signing in, while deletion begins permanent removal and can affect access to services that use the Roblox ID.

Choose deletion rather than deactivation

If you may return, open Roblox Settings > Privacy settings and use Deactivate under Account Deactivation and Deletion; signing in later reactivates it. Continue with deletion only when you want Roblox to begin permanently deleting the account and its personal information.

Record the exact account before requesting deletion

On Roblox Profile or Account Info, note the username of the account to be deleted and confirm it is not a child’s, sibling’s, or alternate account. Also identify any outside service that uses Roblox ID, because deleting Roblox may remove that sign-in route.

Open Roblox’s official Support Form

In a browser on PC or mobile, open Roblox Support’s deletion article and select its support form link. Confirm the form is on roblox.com before entering any account or contact information.

Choose the Right To Be Forgotten request

Complete the Support Form for the intended account, choose Data Privacy Requests, and select the appropriate Right To Be Forgotten option. Review the username and contact details, then submit once and keep the confirmation Roblox provides.

Complete Roblox’s identity verification

Respond only through the Roblox request thread and provide the identity or ownership evidence Roblox asks for. Roblox states it verifies identity before fulfilling deletion, so submitting the form alone does not mean the account has been deleted.

Verify Roblox completed the request

Keep the case confirmation and wait for Roblox’s completion message rather than repeatedly signing in or sending duplicate requests. Treat the deletion as complete only when Roblox confirms fulfillment; its privacy policy says deletion initiates permanent removal but some identifiers may be retained for safety or legal reasons.

If it does not work

  • If the Support Form does not show Right To Be Forgotten, confirm Data Privacy Requests is selected and reopen it from Roblox’s current deletion article instead of choosing an unrelated support category.
  • If Roblox cannot verify identity, reply through the existing case with only the evidence it requests. Do not send a password, session cookie, or another person’s documents.
  • If you only deactivated the account, signing in can reactivate it; that is not proof that a permanent deletion request failed.
  • A submitted form is only a request. Do not claim deletion succeeded until Roblox confirms that identity verification and fulfillment are complete.
