Clash of Clans does not offer a button to reset an existing village to the beginning. Keep the current village linked to Supercell ID, then start a separate village and connect it to a different Supercell ID email if you want to begin again safely.
Open Settings and confirm the current village is connected to Supercell ID. Record the player tag and keep access to its email before switching accounts.
2
Do not erase app data as a reset
Deleting Clash of Clans, clearing storage, or resetting the device does not reliably delete server-side village progress and can risk an unlinked account.
3
Start a separate village
In Settings, use the Supercell ID account switcher to log out, choose Play without Supercell ID when offered, and complete the opening tutorial for the new village.
4
Link the new village separately
Connect the new village to Supercell ID using a different email address from the existing village. One email identifies one Supercell ID account.
5
Switch between saved villages
Use Settings > Supercell ID > Switch Account to choose the intended linked village. Verify the player name and tag before making purchases or changing clan settings.
6
Recover instead of replacing missing progress
If the original village is missing, use Supercell’s account recovery and provide the player tag and requested ownership details. Do not share verification codes or buy a replacement account.
