How to Recover Old Clash of Clans Account

Source-checked About 10 minutes

Answer

If the old village is connected to Supercell ID and you still control its email, open Clash of Clans, choose Log in with Supercell ID, and enter the newest email code. If you cannot access that email or the village was never connected, open Settings > Help and Support and use the contact button in the upper-right corner. Recovery succeeds only after Supercell verifies that you own the account.

Guide steps5 steps
  1. Look for the connected email
  2. Try the official Supercell ID login
  3. Collect ownership evidence
  4. Open in-game recovery
  5. Verify and secure the village
  6. If it still does not work

Look for the connected email

Search each email inbox you control for messages containing Supercell ID. Record the likely village's player name, player tag, Town Hall level, clan, and connected email before starting recovery.

Try the official Supercell ID login

Open Clash of Clans and choose Log in with Supercell ID. Enter the connected email and then the newest code Supercell sends. Do not keep requesting codes; requesting another makes the previous code invalid.

Collect ownership evidence

If email login is impossible, gather the exact player tag, player name, Town Hall level, clan, previous account email, and any purchase receipts you legitimately own. Provide only the items Supercell asks for; do not guess or submit another player's evidence.

Open in-game recovery

In Clash of Clans, open Settings > Help and Support, then tap the contact button in the upper-right corner. Follow the lost-account prompts and answer the ownership questions through that official support conversation.

Verify and secure the village

When the village loads, confirm the player name, tag, Town Hall, clan, and progression. Connect it to an email you control through Supercell ID and enable Account Protection if offered; success means the same village reloads through the new official login.

If it does not work

  • If the login loads a new or different village, stop and compare its player tag with the old account before changing anything.
  • If the email code does not arrive, check spam and the exact address, then request one new code and use only the latest message.
  • If Support cannot verify ownership, do not use third-party recovery services or another person's receipts; only Supercell can restore the account.
