To copy one of your own bases, open the Layout Editor, select the source layout, tap Copy Layout, and choose the correct destination slot. To copy a clanmate's base, visit that village and tap Copy Layout; an official Clash of Clans layout link can also open an import preview. Confirm the village type, destination slot, and final arrangement before making the copy active.
For one of your own bases, open the Layout Editor and select the Home Village, War Base, or Builder Base layout you want to duplicate. For a clanmate's base, open the clan member's profile and visit the matching village.

Tap Copy Layout
Tap Copy Layout on the selected saved layout or visited village. If you opened an official layout link, allow it to open Clash of Clans and review the import preview before continuing.
Select a destination slot for the same village type. Check whether the slot is active or inactive and make sure it is not a layout you still need; copying replaces the destination arrangement.

Review any differences
Check the preview for buildings, traps, or walls that do not match your current Town Hall or Builder Hall progress. If the game cannot make a compatible copy, choose a source closer to your level or finish the arrangement manually in the editor.

Save and verify the copy
Save the destination layout, open it again in the Layout Editor, and inspect the center, corners, traps, walls, and defensive buildings. Success means the copied arrangement appears in the intended slot; make it active only after confirming the correct village and base type.
If it does not work
If Copy Layout is missing on another player's village, confirm that you visited a clanmate and opened the correct Home Village or Builder Base view.
If a shared link opens the store or browser instead of Clash of Clans, install or update the official game, then open the link again on that device.
If the copy cannot be saved, choose a compatible base type and an available destination slot, then resolve any buildings the editor marks as unplaced.
